Touch of Fun Ladies

Touch of Fun Ladies is a competition run throughout the school term. The purpose of “Touch of Fun” is just that FUN!!!

The program is aimed at beginners and girls/women 14+. Games involve modified rules whereby the match is played half field with 4-5 players on the field at once from each team. 

The beauty about Touch of Fun, is you don’t need a team or need to know anyone! You can sign up as an individual or bring a few friends along and we will put you in a team.

Games are played at 6pm on Wednesday nights and there is no scoring or winners – instead lots of laughs, music and fun. At the end of each term ladies enjoy a break up involving wine and cheese of course!

Registration costs are currently $70 per player plus QTF/TFA fees. All players receive a playing shirt at the beginning of the season which are handed back on the final night to be used again the following term. 

The program was originally started by Bundy Touch and commenced in 2024 following on from a Qld Touch Women in Touch program. Participants from this program expressed interest in playing a game and here we are today.

At the end of 2024 Bundy Touch was awarded Community Program of the Year at the Qld Touch Awards for Touch of Fun Ladies.

Touch of Fun is on a break for Term 3 while current players try the Social Women’s competition. If there is the interest for Term 4 and 2027 Bundy Touch will reconsider the competition.

Touch of Fun Ladies is a major part of Bundy Touch; the program has allowed mum’s who would normally sit on the sideline watching their kids play, the confidence and ability to have a go themselves!
Bundy Touch is looking forward to growing this competition for many years to come. 

Social Women’s

2025 also saw the introduction of Social Women’s which is a progression from Touch of Fun. Similar to Touch of Fun, the competition is aimed at girls/women 14+ and can nominate as an individual to be placed into a team. Rep players are prohibited from registering in this competition to ensure it remains at a beginner/social level. After a successful introduction in 2025, we have added the program to our regular senior season for 2026 Term 3-4 (August 4 – September 9 **School Holiday Break** October 13 – November 10).

Social Men’s 

Bundy Touch is excited to announce the introduction of Social Men’s for 2026 Terms 3-4. Coinciding with Social Women’s – Social Men’s will be played the same time. After an expression of interest process, seven teams have been created for the competition and posted to the Bundy Touch Facebook page with instructions on how to register.
