On Sunday 29 March Bundy Touch fielded 14 teams at McCosker Cup in Gladstone. The one day carnival featured over 60 teams from different affiliates allowing Bundy teams a great experience at their first official representative carnival for 2026. While a number of teams qualified for semi finals the standout Bundy teams for the day were U14 Boys Maroon and U16 Boys. U14 Boys Maroon played in the Grand Final against Rockhampton Red, taking out the win in a nail biting drop off. Unfortunately  U16 Boys went down in their grand final against Rockhampton. Overall the day was a success with new friendships made, lots of fun and new skills learned. A big thank you to all our volunteers that assisted with referee, coaching and managing duties as well ensuring our players had enough shade with an epic gazebo setup. Next stop – CQ Champs 16 & 17 May at Gladstone.
